Two teens charged

Two teenaged males are charged for aggravated assault and assault with a weapon after two men were beaten with baseball bats near Squamish Nation reserve in North Vancouver. One of the victims has a fractured skull from the Friday morning attack at West 5th street  and Mahon Avenue by Eslha7an, AKA (Mission Indian Reserve). The 18 and 17- year-old are expected their first court appearance Monday. The Squamish Nation reserves on the North Shore have been sites of quite a few violent crimes in the past couple years. The Squamish Nation website says its 3,324 members live from the North Shore to north of Howe Sound and the Sunshine Coast.

Hearing and seeing this in the news and the newspapers is just horrifying. I don’t see the reason or point in attacking older people if they haven’t done anything wrong. Maybe they didn’t do it to you, but if you hear about what someone does, it doesn’t give you the right to attack them. Why can’t everyone just get along and have no fighting happening. North Vancouver doesn’t need to have a name of having so many people killed. From what I’ve seen in my life, North Van is a pretty safe place to be.
